The Auburn Mountainview Theatre Company presents the musical “Spitfire Grill” this month.
Performances are 7:30 p.m. May 13-16 and May 21-23, with 2 o’clock matinees set for May 16 and 23.
“Spitfire Grill” tells a story of a woman who was just released from prison and goes to work in a small-town café known as The Spitfire Grill.
It is an American heart-and-soul classic that deals with deep themes of redemption, hatred, compassion, independence, the economic problems of small towns, the plight of Vietnam War veterans and, to some extent, female empowerment.
Tickets are $10 at the door, $5 for students
The theater is 28900 124th Ave. SE.
