Chad and Jeremy – one of the few original groups who were part of the 1960s “British Invasion” that are still regularly performing today – performs at 7 p.m. Oct. 13 in the Auburn Performing Arts Center, 700 E. Main St.

The folk rock duo also performs at 2 p.m. Oct. 14 in the Highline Performing Arts Center, 401 S. 152nd St., Burien.

Chad and Jeremy hit the charts in 1964 with their recording of Yesterday’s Gone quickly followed by A Summer Song and Willow Weep For Me.

They have had several reunions over the years. Chad moved into and out of the music scene spending years as a music teacher in Ketchum, Idaho, all the time continuing to write music. Jeremy, when he is not reuniting with Chad to record and tour, has been an actor on stage, in movies and on television.

In 2002, after 15 years apart, Chad And Jeremy found that making music was simply too much fun to not do again.

Chad Stuart and Jeremy Clyde have come full circle. In the 1960s, they were thrilling audiences throughout the world, and the duo is doing the same nearly 50 years later. Whether on stage, on their brand-new albums, or through archival releases of unheard material, you can be sure that Chad and Jeremy have a lot more to say.

Opening for Chad and Jeremy will be the Misty Mamas, a sweet sounding folk quartet from Vancouver, Wash.
