Jeff Foxworthy, one of the most respected and successful comedians in the country, performs Friday, Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Puyallup Fair’s 2012 Concert Series, presented by Columbia Bank.
Known for his classic line, “You might be a redneck if …,” Foxworthy has sold more records than any other comedian in history, was a multiple Grammy Award nominee and best-selling author of more than 26 books. His act explores the humor in everyday family interactions and human nature, a style often compared to Mark Twain’s.
Tickets go on sale next Saturday, Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. on the fair website, www.thefair.com/concerts or by phone (888) 559-FAIR (3247), daily, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
To save the convenience charges, purchase tickets in person at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center box office at 9th Avenue Southwest and Meridian Street on Saturdays (starting Feb. 11) , 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., and starting on Feb. 14 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Ticket prices are $65 golden circle; $45 infield; grandstand seating at $45, $35 and $25. Seats are reserved and include fair gate admission.
Foxworthy’s hit TV show, “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?”, aired from 2007-2009 on FOX and is in syndication. Prior to that he executive produced and starred in, “Foxworthy’s Big Night Out”.
Foxworthy also had starred in and executive produced the television series, “Blue Collar TV”, which he created for the WB network.
