About the band

Creedence Clearwater Revival members Stu Cook and Doug Clifford formed Creedence Clearwater Revisited in 1995. Their certified platinum album, Recollection, is composed of live cover versions of Creedence Clearwater Revival songs, including “Proud Mary,” “Susie Q,” and “Born on the Bayou.”

Though the pair initially only planned to play private parties, Creedence Clearwater Revisited now performs up to 100 shows a year and released the album “Recollection.”

“We never really had any intention of playing for the public,” Cook said. “But a friend wanted to promote a couple of concerts. We got talked into it, but didn’t know how it would go over.”
