The White River Amphitheatre was the rallying point for the KISS Army last Saturday as the rock supergroup KISS invaded the Auburn venue along with openers Mötley Crüe and The Treatment.

The masked foursome, led by founding members Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and featuring Tommy Thayer (in place of Ace Frehley) and Eric Singer (in place of Peter Criss), thrilled the hard rock faithful with an explosive set of the band’s classics, including “Detroit Rock City,” “God of Thunder,” “Lovegun” and “Black Diamond.”

1980s hair band legends Mötley Crüe supported KISS with British upstarts The Treatment opening the show with a high voltage set of stripped-down, melodic hard rock.
