Brendy Stevens, a graduate
of Thomas Jefferson High School in Auburn, will be on stage when the Bellevue Community College Drama Department presents the rousing musical “Pippin” on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Shows begin at 8 p.m. each day, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday.
Stevens will appear as one of the Players, an ensemble of actors who open the show with a musical prologue and then perform as characters in the “play-within-the-play.”
“Pippin” is the story of a young man who encounters war, politics, revolution, sex, drugs, and parenthood on his path to find meaning in his life.
Performances will be held in BCC’s Stop Gap and Carlson Theatres, located in Building E on the south courtyard of the main campus (3000 Landerholm Circle S.E., at the intersection of S.E. 28th St. and 148th Ave. S.E.).
Tickets, at $12 ($10 students), may be purchased through www.ticketwindowonline.com.
