The Puyallup Fair recently announced that acclaimed painter, poet, and sculptor Leo E. Osborne is the featured artist in the Pavilion Art Show this year. His stunning exhibit will be on display Sept. 10-26 during Fair hours, located on the second floor of the Pavilion.
The Leo E. Osborne exhibit will feature more than 90 original pieces, as well as multiple pieces designed exclusively for Puyallup Fair guests. All of Osborne’s artwork will be available for purchase.
Osborne will make three appearances at the Fair – Sept. 10 at 2 p.m., Sept. 11 at 1 p.m., and Sept. 26 at 2 p.m.
A Master Signature Artist of the Society of Animal Artists and member of the National Sculpture Society, Osborne has been recognized by many prestigious groups. His work is gathered in numerous museums, personal, and public collections. Osborne’s work has been featured in more than 10 art or wildlife magazines, including National Geographic.
Specializing in sculptures, prints and paintings, Osborne follows his heart and spirituality in each piece of art he creates. His artistic philosophy is that art transcends all borders, boundaries, and barriers. Working with a variety of mediums, Osborne’s work is as impressive as it is original.
Osborne graduated from the New England School of Art in 1969 and lived in Maine for 20 years before relocating to Guemes Island, Wash., in 1994. Captivated by the love and spirit of this island, his Milkwood Studio and Home Gallery was created. His inspirational and eclectic artwork has delighted many, and continues to capture a growing audience.
The Leo E. Osborne exhibition is free to Fair guests after gate admission, and is sponsored by Columbia Bank.
