Admission is free and donations are welcome.

The ensemble performed on “America’s Got Talent” in the summer of 2010. A YouTube video entry, they were one of 12 acts chosen out of thousands to perform on national TV.

PLUtonic also competed in the ICCA college a cappella competition last year and won the quarterfinals in San Francisco to earn a second place in the semifinals.

Daniel Frerichs, son of Auburn Mountainview High School music teacher Karen Frerichs, is one of the basses.

All of the music is arranged by members of the group. Several of the members are music majors.

PLUtonic, who manages all of its rehearsals, finances and bookings, was chosen to perform for South African activist and retired Anglican bishop Desmond Tutu at the Tacoma Dome last spring.

The Auburn Mountainview Theatre is located at 28900 124th Ave. SE.
