Hagar is a legend in the rock and roll world. In addition to his current solo career with hit song “I Can’t Drive 55,” he is also known as a singer for Van Halen from 1985-96, and 2003-2005.

Hagar’s band, which formed in the winter of 1997 is affectionately known as the Wabos. It’s no wonder, since he is also well known as the founder of the Cabo Wabo Tequila Brand, and the restaurant chain. Cabo Wabo Cantinas are located in Cabo San Lucas, Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas. The Wabos band includes David Lauser (drums), Mona (bass and vocals) and Vic Johnson (guitar and vocals).

Hagar has had the opportunity to work with some of hard rock’s most famous guitarists, including Eddie Van Halen, Ronnie Montrose, Neal Schon of Journey and more recently, Joe Satriani.

Tickets will be going on sale for the remainder of the Fair’s concert series lineup in the next few months. Visit the Fair website, www.thefair.com/concerts for updates, or sign up at www.thefair.com to receive e-mail or text announcements prior to the concert on-sale dates.
