Spring Fair in Puyallup kicks off today, runs through Sunday

The 22nd annual Spring Fair in Puyallup swings open its gates at 2 p.m. today, offering a wide variety of fun for the whole family.

Today’s special features:

• Kids (0-18 years) receive free gate admission, with recommended food donation.

• Food Drive – As you enter the gate, drop off your non-perishable food donations for Puyallup Food Bank.

• Ride Saver Pack – 7 Rides for $16 (no coupon needed). Excludes Roller Coaster and Extreme Scream.

• Extreme Scream – Take $3 off the regular price. A ride is only $7.50.

New features:

• Food Network star and Sumner native, Sandra Lee, taking part in Saturday’s food drive, plus a cooking demo at 2 pm

• Motorsports Madness – Auto Alley features LeMay cars daily, with the Monster Truck Show on Friday 8 p.m.; Slamfest Demo Derby Saturday 7:30 p.m., and Sunday 2 p.m. Purchase reserved seats at www.thefair.com.

• Timberworks Lumberjack Show – Witness lumberjacks throwing axes, chopping, log rolling and more.

• Amazing Garden Display – Check out the 30′ x 40′ landscape display in the Garden Show created by Olympic Landscaping & Irrigation.
