About the artists

Thompson Square, the Academy of Country Music’s (ACM) Vocal Duo of the Year, was also the Country Music Association’s (CMA) 2012 Vocal Duo of the Year. The couple made country music history by becoming the first new duo in 20 years to win the ACM Award and the only established married duo act to win the CMA Award since the creation of the award.

Thompson Square was nominated for the ACM’s Vocal Duo of the Year Award for the fourth consecutive year in 2014. Florida Georgie Line won this year’s award.

Thompson Square’s new single, “Testing the Water,” impacted country radio this spring. The song features a rap performed by Shawna. Watch the song’s fun-filled lyric video for the song here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkK4L20hh6Q

The couple’s “Everything I Shouldn’t Be Thinking About” was a Top 5 hit country radio and the duo’s second consecutive smash hit from its sophomore album, Just Feels Good. The album is an autobiographical account of the duo’s life together and rise to fame.

The tandem’s recently brought its headlining 2014 Just Feels Good Tour to fans – including military bases – in Australia and Asia.

The new album’s lead single, “If I Didn’t Have You,” was a top radio hit selling nearly one million singles to-date. The music video reached No. 1 on the CMT and GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdowns and was nominated for a 2013 CMT Music Award.
