From the junk yard to the stage. Vocal Trash, the Stomp-style national phenomenon, hits the Auburn Avenue Theater on Friday for a 7:30 p.m. show.
The message is recycle, but the show says rock.
The concept of “up-cycling” isn’t new, but it isn’t common either. Taking garbage and making it into something new, something better. Vocal Trash takes the idea to heart. As their name suggests, they give a new voice to your every day garbage and pull out musical hits like you’ve never heard before. Breathing new life into radio worn music, from ’80s classic “Footloose” to the Black Eyed Peas “I Gotta Feeling”, Vocal Trash pumps up the energy and lays down the beat.
