X Ambassadors, an alternative rock band from Ithaca, N.Y., will perform at the Washington State Fair on Sept. 15, part of the Columbia Bank Concert Series.
The band joins international pop star Rachel Platten for the 7:30 p.m. concert.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. Tickets are $65 (Golden Circle), $50, $40 and include gate admission. Tickets will be available on the fair website, or by phone at 888-559-FAIR (3247) daily, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the box office at 9th Avenue Southwest and Meridian Street on Saturdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Online/phone purchases are subject to standard processing fees. Tickets purchased on site will be charged a $2 per ticket service fee.
X Ambassadors released their debut full-length album, VHS in 2015 with hit songs, “Unconsolable,” “Jungle” and “Renegades”. Both Love Songs Drug Songs, and EP The Reason were preludes to this great success.
Platten broke through in 2015 with her 3x platinum hit single “Fight Song.” Her second platinum selling single “Stand By You” reached No. 1 at Adult Pop Radio, and her current single, “Better Place”, is proving to be yet another hit single as it approaches Top 15 at Adult Pop radio.
