Brandon Suhr, a 19-year-old Algona resident, is being held in a King County jail on $1 million bail for suspicion of killing a 13-year-old boy in Pacific on Friday.

He faced a King County Superior Court judge on Saturday and will likely face charges of kidnapping, burglary and first-degree murder.

Suhr allegedly killed his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend’s younger brother in their apartment at the Cobble Court Apartments at 600 Ellingson Rd. in Pacific.

According to Pacific Police spokesman Stephanie Shook, officers responded to a call at 3:02 a.m. Friday morning, from a man who said the boy and his sister were missing.

When police arrived at the apartment they found the boy dead in one of the bedrooms of the apartment.

No details on the cause of death or the victim’s identity have been officially released, although police said he was a seventh-grader at Mount Baker Middle School.

The girl was later found at Suhr’s Algona residence – less than two miles from the crime scene – Friday morning and transported to the hospital for unspecified injuries.

The suspect was arrested at the same location after a brief standoff with police.

Suhr’s Facebook page lists him as a 2011 graduate of Auburn Riverside High School.

KOMO News reported that Suhr was investigated by police last month for allegedly displaying a weapon, disorderly conduct and threats to do harm.
