Cap’N Arrr’s Won Israel, shown, entertains the crowd during the Auburn Parks, Arts and Recreation’s first Kids Summerstage Outdoors Series show at Les Gove Park last week. There will be shows every Wednesday at noon through Aug. 13. Cap ’N Arrr entertained with interactive comedy, audience participation, instructions on how to walk and talk like a pirate and sing-a-longs.

Joanna Dudley and her companions from Rainier Christian School made pirate hats for the occasion. The sunny afternoon brought out a large crowd at the park.

Joel Brantley’s History of Rock-n-Roll resumes the series today in the park, 910 Ninth St. SE.
