Assault of an officer | Auburn police blotter

Aggravated assault: Auburn police were dispatched on Oct. 2 after receiving a report at approximately 2:37 a.m. regarding an aggravated assault at a residential apartment unit. Auburn police arrested a man in the incident for domestic assault in the 1300 block of 31st Street Southeast. Auburn police booked him on a charge of assault in the second degree. The department’s log listed two victims involved and one suspect. According to the department’s log, the assault involved no weapons, and resulted in injuries.

Fight: Auburn police were dispatched on Sept. 30 after receiving report of a fight at the Muckleshoot Casino at 2402 Auburn Way South at approximately 10:22 p.m. According to the department’s public information log, investigation found a fight occurred between two female guests at the casino. A witness to the incident provided information to the police.

Assault of an officer: A man assaulted an Auburn police officer as they attempted to arrest him on Sept. 28 at approximately 9:43 p.m. According to the department’s public information log, police arrested the man on a charge of assault in the third degree for assaulting a city officer, in addition to vehicular trespassing. The 40-year-old man held an arrest warrant for violating community custody.
