Assaulting strangers: Auburn police were dispatched on Sept. 22 after receiving a report at approximately 10:24 p.m. regarding an assault in the 1500 block of North Street Northeast. According to the department’s public information log, Auburn police arrested a man for assaulting and harassing strangers in the incident on a charge of assault in the fourth degree. The incident involved three victims.

Aggravated assault: Auburn police were dispatched on Sept. 21 after receiving a report at approximately 10:37 p.m. regarding an aggravated assault at the address of an apartment complex unit. According to the department’s public information log, police developed probable cause to arrest a suspect for assault in the second degree for an assault that occurred in the 12700 block of Southeast 312th Street. According to the log, police collected a knife as evidence in the incident. The incident involved one suspect and one victim, in addition to witnesses.

Burglary: Auburn police responded on Sept. 18 after receiving a report at approximately 7:26 a.m. regarding a non-residential commercial burglary in the 3900 block of A Street Southeast. According to the department’s public information log, police developed probable cause to arrest two individuals on charges of burglary in the second degree and possession of controlled substances in the incident. Police collected fentanyl, marijuana, baggies, and a bullet casing as evidence in the incident.
