Flood plan meeting: 6-8:30 p.m. Dec. 6, William C. Warren Building, 405 E St. NE, Auburn.  The draft update to the King County Flood Hazard Management Plan is expected to be released to the public in January for public comment and review and expected to be transmitted to the King County Council and the King County Flood Control District Board of Supervisors in April for review. The update must receive approval from the Washington State Department of Ecology. To help prepare the draft update, King County hosts a public meeting to discuss the flood risk reduction strategies that are being considered.
