Auburn’s 47th Veteran’s Day Observation, Remembrance Ceremony: 9:45 a.m. Nov. 10, Veterans Memorial Park, 411 E St. NE. Dedication of Blue Star Memorial Marker, in part funded by the Auburn Garden Club, will be dedicated. Activities include lighting of Memorial Flame. Ceremony runs prior to the Veterans Day Parade. 47th Veterans Day Parade: 11 a.m. Nov. 10, Main St., Auburn. One of the largest Veterans Day parades in the country. The parade pays special tribute to the American Veterans (AMVETS). The parade boasts almost 200 units and more than 5,500 parade participants, including more than 25 marching bands, military vehicles, veterans’ units, honor guards and more.
