Owing to decreasing demand, the City of Auburn is changing the times and locations it makes sandbags available. Sandbags will no longer be available at Fulmer Field. Residents will be able to receive sandbags at the Les Gove Community Campus on Thursdays, from 12 p.m. until dusk and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sandbags will be located at the Southeast corner of the park, accessible from 12th Street. Each customer can receive 30 bags per trip (approximately one half ton) and will be provided tools and sand to fill their bags. Volunteers will be on-hand, as available, to help fill and load bags.

Individuals in need of delivery of filled sandbags should contact Pastor Jerry Larson of His Ministry at (253) 315-9570. Groups and individuals interested in volunteering at the sandbag site should contact Emergency Management at (253) 876-1925.to schedule a time to do so.
