The Auburn Community Players has scheduled auditions for “9 to 5 the Musical” at 6 p.m. Monday, March 16 at the Auburn Ave Theater, 10 Auburn Ave.

Performers 16 and older are asked to arrive early to fill out audition forms and get their picture taken.

They are also asked to bring a resume, a list of conflicts for April-June and a prepared song from musical theater, 16 to 32 bars in length, no a cappella. Bring the sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.

Auditions are expected to run until 9:30 p.m.

Callbacks are from 7 to 9:30 p.m. March 18.

Show performances are 7:30 p.m. June 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20 and 2 p.m. June 14.

“9 To 5 the Musical:, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking, and even a little romantic.
