Dog lovers flocked to the Auburn International Farmers Market to enjoy a sun-spangled Sunday, take in some food, music and crafts and parade their beloved animals.

The market hosted its Dog Days of Summer event, featuring a Red Carpet Parade of Market Dogs.

Pet owners competed for prizes while showcasing their canines along the red carpet.

Linda Butler’s 3-year-old toy poodle, Nisi, won for Best Dress. Miles Crawford’s 2-year-old Golden Retriever, Skywalker, won for Best In Show, and Egan Leslie and Max, his 2-year-old Mastiff/Rottweiler mix, won for Owner Lookalike.
