The Auburn International Farmers Market opened Sunday under sunny skies.

The market, in the Auburn Transit Station Plaza at 23 A St. SW, features fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, a variety of foods, bakery products and hand-crafted items.

Kiwanis provided breakfast and lunch. Local leaders spoke and Miss Auburn’s Morgan Warren sang the National Anthem.

The market is open every Sunday, through Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
