The Auburn Food Bank recently started a shelter for the homeless during extreme weather situations, and it needs your help.

If you have any of the following items, please contact Kathy Conners at 206-686-2080, volunteer Paul at the Auburn Food Bank or Food Bank Executive Director Debbie Christian at 253-833-8925.

Some of the items needed:

• Coffee maker, one used for large parties

• Blankets

• Plastic or unbreakable plates, dishes, cutlery, cups

• First-Aid kit

• Socks, gloves, scarves, hats

• Pillows
