A 59-year-old Auburn man died on July 31 as a result of a fatal single-vehicle collision in Tukwila that occurred about three weeks earlier on July 12.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Hernandez Martinez Renaldo died at 5:36 p.m. July 31 at Harborview Medical Center.

Renaldo’s vehicle lost control traveling northbound on Interstate 5 at Interstate 405, leaving the roadway to the left and rolling over onto its top. The vehicle arrived to a stop in a ditch on the left side of the roadway, according to the state patrol.

The accident resulted in roadway blockages for approximately two hours. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, according to the state patrol.
