Auburn police blotter

Series of incidents: Auburn police arrested two individuals in the 3600 block of D Street Southeast on the morning of Aug. 12 following a series of incidents. According to the department’s public information log, police arrested two subjects for felony eluding and additional charges including obstruction of a law enforcement officer, drug loitering, possession of a controlled substance, malicious mischief in the first degree, resisting arrest, hit-and-run of an unattended vehicle, providing a false statement to a public servant, and more. According to the log, police collected fentanyl as evidence in the incident.

Armed robbery: Auburn police responded on Aug. 12 after receiving a report at approximately 7:23 p.m. to an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven located in the 3700 block of Auburn Way North. According to the department’s public information log, four minors — three armed with firearms — stole cash from the register and from two patrons within the store prior to fleeing the scene in a stolen Hyundai Elantra. Kent police pursued the suspects as a result of a tracker in the stolen cash after the suspects drove into Kent, eventually losing sight of the vehicle, with officers from multiple law enforcement agencies continuing the search. Law enforcement located and arrested the suspects in South Seattle, with the suspects attempting to flee on foot. Police arrested the suspects without incident on robbery in the first degree charges. No injuries resulted from the incident.

Vehicular assault: Auburn police were dispatched on Aug. 6 after receiving report at approximately 6:03 a.m. of an aggravated assault in the 11900 block of Southeast 310th Street. According to the department’s public information log, a suspect assaulted a man with a vehicle in the incident. Law enforcement arrested the suspect on a charge of assault in the second degree and malicious mischief in the third degree. The incident resulted in property damages to a fence and to the window of a vehicle.
