April 1

Bike theft: 5 p.m., 6000 block of Olive Avenue Southeast. Somebody stole a woman’s bike from her garage during daylight hours.

April 3

Marijuana: 10:30 a.m., 1825 K St. SE. Police busted a student for having marijuana at Olympic Middle School.

Stealing shades: 11:45 a.m., 4700 block of Mill Pond Drive Southeast. A man called to report the theft of sunglasses from his unlocked vehicle.

Trespassing: 7:52 p.m., 302 15th St. NE. Wendy’s gave somebody an emphatic boot for begging.

Trespassing: 2:11 p.m., 2812 H St. SE. A woman asked police to arrest a neighbor for trespassing because, she said, he had ridden his bicycle over an easement area she insists is private property.

Theft: 3:35 a.m., 220 block of 8th Street Southeast. Bad guys stole somebody’s tires.

Animal problem: 5:56 p.m., 11200 block of Southeast 296th Street. A resident complained that a neighborhood dog had bitten his 8-year-old son on the arm.

Animal problem: 6:57 p.m., 5506 Highland Drive Southeast. Somebody picked up a beagle as a stray dog and took it to the Auburn Valley Humane Society.

Vandalism: 8:02 p.m., 1200 block of Auburn Way South. Four males got into a punch-up. While police were contacting numerous people involved in the fight, they found the vandalized vehicle that was at the heart of the dispute. Nobody was arrested.

Controlled substance: 12 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Police found a plastic smoking device in a woman’s bra while they were booking her.

April 4

Vandalism: 1:22 a.m., 600 block of L Place Southeast. Somebody shot BBs at two windows of a home, shattering the glass.

Graffiti: 3 p.m., 2300 block of R Street Southeast. Vandals sprayed graffiti on an 8-foot-long, 3-foot-high wooden fence.

April 6

Shoplifting: 7:57 p.m., 1702 Auburn Way N. An unknown man stole booze and groceries from Top Food & Drug then skedaddled in an older, white-colored, 4-door sedan.

Shoplifting: 12:03 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. A crew of four larcenous women keen to enter the illicit brassiere trade shoplifted 45 bras from Victoria’s Secret.

April 7

Trespassing: 3:32 p.m., 5550 Auburn Way S. An unwanted person got the old heave-ho from the authorities at a 76 gas station. Just what he or she was unwanted for police declined to disclose.

April 11

Theft: Overnight, 100 block of D Street Southwest. Somebody stole somebody’s riding lawn mower.
