Auburn Police blotter | April 27

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between April 18 and 23:

April 18

Theft: 1:40 p.m., 420 22nd St. SE. A thief eyeballed a bicycle in a front yard, and then hopped on the seat and rode off into the early afternoon.

Prowling: 1:50 p.m., 202 N. Division St. Police arrested a guy for vehicle prowling and for furtively carrying an unspecified but dangerous weapon.

Theft: 6:39 p.m., 2236 Auburn Way N. Somebody stole a cellphone from Cash America.

Street robbery with firearm: 2:41 p.m., 1200 block of 22nd Street Northeast. Police busted a kid for armed robbery.

April 20

Vandalism: 8:24 a.m., 3000 block of 15th Street Southeast. A bad guy broke a truck window, perhaps to rob said truck.

Agency assist: 1:08 p.m., 400 block of 16th Street Northeast. Police arrested a woman in Auburn for assaulting her girlfriend in Kent.

April 21

Hit and run: 3:05 a.m., 1600 block of 4th Street Northeast. Somebody struck a man’s fence with a car and drove away.

April 23

Burglary: 6 a.m., 701 6th St. NW. A person or persons unknown burglarized and in the process vandalized Peninsula Trucking’s truck storage yard overnight.

Marijuana: 2:30 p.m., 711 E. Main St. The powers that be at Auburn High School discovered pot on a student.
