Aug. 3

Theft: 12:15 a.m., 1300 block of 17th St. SE. While a woman was attending church, somebody reached into her purse and swiped her wallet, her cellphone, some cash and credit cards.

Drugs: 12:24 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Some druggie left heroin in the woman’s bathroom at Safeway.

Shoe stealer: 8:20 p.m., 1320 Outlet Collection Way SW. A female stole shoes at a store undisclosed in The Outlet Collection mall, and police busted her for it.

Theft: 9:20 p.m., 31901 124th Avenue SE. A fellow was playing basketball at Lea Hill Park when somebody stole his cellphone.

Aug. 4

Theft: Overnight, 4700 block of Mill Pond Drive Southeast. While its owner lay sleeping, a vehicle caught the eye of a thief, who prowled it, broke its passenger side window and stole a backpack from it before slithering away again into the darkness.

Theft: 11 a.m., 1531 Auburn Way S. A male stole a fraudulent bill detector from McDonalds.

Burglary: 6 a.m., 13317 124th Avenue St. Between July 20 and Aug. 4, burglars feasted on a storage shed at Family of Grace Church.

Vandalism: 10 p.m., 30600 block of 115th Court Southeast. Bad guys fired paintballs and BBs at a home and broke seven of its windows.

Aug. 5

Theft: Overnight, 5500 block of South 296th Place. A woman reported that an unknown person had entered her vehicle through an unlocked door and stolen ID cards and a debit card.

Shoplifting of “item”: 10:25 a.m., 1425 Outlet Collection Way SW. While personnel of an undisclosed store at the Outlet Collection Mall weren’t looking, a man stole one of those “undisclosed” type items that police are so fond of not talking about, value equally disclosed, from said undisclosed store.

Street robbery with a firearm: 5 p.m., 12500 block of Southeast 318th Way. An unknown male robbed a man at gunpoint. Did he get away with anything? Was the man hurt? Police didn’t say.

Street robbery with knife: 12:05 a.m., 101 Auburn Way S. A male was robbed at knife point near the 100 block of Auburn Way South.

Aug. 7

Disorderly conduct: 1:22 p.m., 500 Auburn Way S. Aggressive begging earned a man apprehension by the police.

Theft: 1:46 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Surveillance video at the Muckleshoot Casino caught a woman stealing a customer’s wallet, and her subsequent arrest disclosed the existence of multiple warrants out there for her thieving self.
