Auburn Police blotter | Dec. 15

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Dec. 6 and 10:

Dec. 6

Burglary: Overnight, 420 H St. NW. Police took a burglary report at a vehicle impound lot.

Strongarm street robbery: 7:05 p.m., 1825 K St. SE. A person or persons unknown tried to rob a man.

Shoplifting: 7:20 p.m. 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Two thieves stole undisclosed merchandise from a business.

Dec. 7

Auto theft: 6:35 a.m., 1300 block of 17th Street Southeast. The owner of a vehicle left it running in front of his or her residence, somebody got in, turned the key and stole said vehicle.

Theft: 9 p.m., 5600 block of Charlotte Avenue Southeast. Somebody stole a ring from an Auburn woman’s home.

Theft from motor vehicle: 3 p.m., 5942 Peasley Canyon Road S. Somebody broke into a man’s truck while it was parked at the Peasley Canyon Park & Ride in West Auburn and stole his DeWalt drill.

Theft: 4:45 p.m., 1500 block of Dogwood Street Southeast. Video caught a thief stealing packages from door steps.

Dec. 8

Theft 5:35 p.m., 4800 block of D Street Northeast. A man reported the theft of a leaf blower from the rear of his work van.

Dec. 10

Burglary: 6:05 a.m., 401 8th St. SW. While a guest was out of his or her room getting that first cup of coffee in the morning, a burglar got into the guest’s hotel room and stole numerous items, undisclosed.
