Auburn police responded to numerous calls for service, among them the following, between Dec. 15 and Dec. 17:
Dec. 15
Burglary: 9:11 p.m., 5200 block of Kersey Way Southeast. A woman reported that a roll-up door for a shop next to her home was damaged. It appeared that a subject or subject attempted to gain entry but was unsuccessful.
Dec. 17
Recovered stolen vehicle: 8:30 a.m., 300 block of 44th Street Northwest. Police located a stolen trailer.
Fraud: 9:35 a.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a guy after he tried to cash a bogus $100 bill at the Muckleshoot Casino. Police found two more forged $100 bills on his person.
Weapons offense: 12:48 p.m., 800 4th St. NE. An Auburn High School student was arrested for possession of metal knuckles on school property.
Auto theft: 1:19 p.m., 3104 C St. NE. An International Van was reported stolen after the owner was notified the vehicle was parked outside an Auburn business.
Controlled substance: 2:31 p.m., 800 4th St. NE. A student was arrested for possession of marijuana at school.
Theft: 11 a.m., 301 15th St. NE. Unknown suspects entered an unsecured vehicle and stole items.
Theft: 8:30 p.m., 1500 block of 30th Street Southeast. A man’s car was broken into and several items were stolen.
Theft: 7 a.m., 1300 block of 8th Street Northeast. A mailman discovered that a mailbox serving numerous businesses had been broken into from the back and emptied of all contents
Theft: 5:15 p.m., 1900 block of 19th Place Southeast. Somebody stole a kid’s Galaxy Player 5.0, his birthday present, from his bedrom. The item was valued at $270.
