June 28

Assault on an officer: 2:55 p.m., 3400 block of I Street Northeast. Police arrested a man who’d assaulted an officer.

What fowl act?: 5:09 p.m., 1200 A St. NE. Not only did the bad bloke get the boot from the Auburn International Farmer’s Market, he was pronounced persona non grata at the ol’ duck pond, too.

July 2

Arson: 10 a.m., 2832 Emerald Downs Drive NW. A caller reported a suspicious fire in an empty, temporary barn at Emerald Downs.

Moon out early: 3:21 p.m., 2200 I St. NE. A man dropped his pants and lay down in a parking lot, and police busted him.

July 9

Assault with a knife: 11:27 p.m., 1500 block of 25th Street Southeast. Wielding a knife, a woman attacked a man.

Theft: 11:45 a.m., 200 block of D Street Northwest. Somebody stole a skateboard that had been outside a house, but the someone was found and neighbors identified him or her.

July 10

Vandalism: 1:54 p.m., 340 E Main St. Vandals damaged a sign in front of the Auburn Police Department.

July 11

Theft: 12:40 p.m., 1038 Outlet Collection Way SW. Someone stole an employee’s Ipad from an AT&T store on July 9, but said victim didn’t know it was gone until two days had passed.

Theft: 12 p.m., 2701 I St. NE. While a man was talking on the phone at a local business, someone stole his wallet.

Theft: 4 p.m., 520 E. Main St. Somebody stole a man’s wedding ring.

Burglary: 1:25 a.m., 1919 Howard Road SE. Two men found inside a construction site got busted for commercial burglary.
