May 31

ID theft: 11:26 a.m., 300 block of 17th Street Southeast. According to police, “an adult female” reported that sometime between Sept. 1 and Nov. 1 of 2012, somebody opened a utilities account in her name. Exhaustive research revealed that the victim was actually “a woman,” cloaked under the crafty wording “adult female” to befuddle anyone trying to suss out her real identity.

Theft: 12:35 p.m., 810 Auburn Way N. Somebody stole a boat from Auburn Sports and Marine. Police did not disclose a value.

Dog bite: 4:45 p.m., 6300 block of Nathan Place Southeast. A dog bit a child.

June 1

Burglary: 1:49 a.m., 2302 A St. SE. A man reported that somebody had broken into his business.

June 2

Theft: Overnight, 800 block of 6th Street Southeast. Somebody stole a large game cart from a woman’s backyard. Police did not disclose a value.

Theft: 8:54 p.m., 1302 W. Main St. A business owner reported that someone had entered a borrowed, unlocked truck and swiped a set of ignition keys.

Vandalism: 9:10 a.m., 2606 R St. SE. Sometime overnight or over the weekend someone chucked two rocks through the window of the Bible Chapel. Police did not disclose a value for the damage done.

Being there with burglary tools: 11:20 p.m., 4104 A St. SE. Police arrested a man for trespassing, for having burglary tools and for obstructing justice in some undisclosed manner.

Booze offense: 10:30 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a young man for being inside a liquor establishment at the Muckleshoot Casino, without the required, minimum tally of birthdays to his name.
