Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between March 3 and 8:
March 3
Dog bite: 1:57 p.m., 31600 block of 126th Avenue SE. Dog bit someone, police investigated.
Agency assist: 12:06 p.m., 31600 block of 126th Avenue Southeast. An outside agency asked police to help with a sex offender who was in violation of registry requirements.
Assault with hands and fists: 5:50 p.m., 2300 block of M Street Northeast. Police arrested a couple of kids for felony assault and felony vandalism.
Dog bite: 10 p.m., 100 block of West Main. Another dog bite, another police investigation.
Assault: 11:37 p.m., 3400 block of C Street Southeast. A woman reported that her husband had assaulted her.
March 4
Auto theft: 5:45 a.m., 3710 A St. SE. A thief eyed a car running with the keys inside and did what thieves do.
Burglary: 7 a.m., 1445 R St. NW. A business reported that sometime overnight, someone had stolen a battery from one of its trucks.
Harassment: 8:58 a.m., 3900 block of A Street Southeast. A girl, or woman, reported that some guy she knows had been harassing her, but, police determined, not yet in a criminal way.
Theft: 9:48 a.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Many riders piled into a cab for a ride from Kent to Auburn, but at ride’s end, not a one of that travelling horde produced a single penny to pay for it.
Shoplifting: 1:48 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Some guy stole several pairs of shoes from the Adidas store in the Outlet Collection Mall.
Assault: 5:17 p.m., 4000 block of A Street Southeast. Somebody picked up a pellet gun and shot a guy.
March 8
Crash and grab: 6:14 a.m., 4018 A St. SE. Some guy crashed a car through the doors of the Metro PCS store, got out, removed several items from the store, backed out and left the scene.
Shoplifting: 2:47 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW.. Staff at Coach Outlet store reported a theft from their store that had gone down on March 1.
Lewd conduct: 12:40 p.m., 1000 block of 28th Street Northeast. Police arrested a guy for lewd conduct.
