Feb. 23

Burglary: 6 p.m., 1305 17th St. SE. A burglar or burglars broke into a church and stole undisclosed multi-media electronic equipment worth undisclosed dollars.

Theft: 9 a.m., 1340 M St. SE. Somebody stole a set of prescription pads from a doctor’s office, leading to forgeries in other cities.

Feb. 25

Shoplifting: 7:35 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. A male stole a watch from a store inside The Outlet Collection Mall.

Feb. 26

Theft: 1:40 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. While an employee of a kiosk business at The Outlet Collection was helping a customer, somebody stole his cellphone.

Drugs: 9:57 p.m., 3900 block of A Street Southeast. Police arrested a man for heroin sales after he tried to sell heroin to an undercover police officer. Police busted another man for a Kent PD warrant.

Feb. 27

Hit and run?: 1 a.m., 1525 A St. NE. An officer hinted that something had happened, didn’t say at all what, but he was swearing to it.

Vandalism: 9:04 a.m., 802 45th St. NE. A woman reported that her son had punched walls and damaged things in her home during a domestic dispute. The son fled the area before police arrived.

Trespassing: 10:46 a.m., 320 Auburn Way S. Two males did a bit too much lingering at the palace of the Burger King and got the royal edict to be gone.

Shoplifting: 10:09 a.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Thieves shoplifted four leather duffle bags from the Coach Store in The Outlet Collection.

Fraud: 10:30 a.m., 2901 Auburn Way S. A woman complained that she’d fallen for a bogus “secret shopper” offer and lost more than $1,000.

Loose dog: 7:42 p.m., 1100 14th St. NE. A friendly German Shepherd was spotted walking about with no collar or identification, so he was taken to the Auburn Valley Humane Society.
