The Auburn Police Department responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between April 20 and 28:
April 20
Missing person: 4:44 p.m., 1202 Auburn Way S. A man who’d been reported missing turned up a few hours later.
April 22
Purse theft: 6 p.m. 2300 block of R Street Southeast. While a woman was showing her for-sale house, a woman entered the home, stole the owner’s wallet from her open purse, and then used the credit cards at scattered locales.
April 23
Residential burglary: 9 a.m., 30900 block of 133rd Avenue Southeast. A bad person stole keys from inside a house then used the keys to steal the homeowner’s vehicle.
Agency assist: 5 p.m., 29400 block of 59th Avenue South. Police found a person who’d been reported missing in Oklahoma.
Assault: 2 p.m., 1800 block of K Street Southeast. A juvenile male, to wit, a boy, assaulted another juvenile male, to wit, also a boy.
Abandoned vehicle: 4 p.m. 13200 block of Southeast 312th Way. Somebody left an abandoned boat on a street.
April 24
Assault: 8:20 p.m., 400 block of 27th Street Southeast. A boy assaulted his mother, committing an act of vandalism in the process.
April 26
Shoplifting: 7:10 p.m. 1011 Outlet Collection Way SW. Some guy stole seven handbags from an undisclosed store.
Vandalism: 1:26 p.m., 1000 28th St. NE. Somebody damaged a truck at Brannan Park.
Assault: 4:40 p.m., 900 block of L Street Southeast. A female — infant, girl or woman not specified — assaulted her mother
Theft: 7:40 p.m., 902 Outlet Collection Way SW. Somebody swiped a cellphone and a wallet from a bathroom stall.
April 27
Assault: 12:36 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. A man beat on his girlfriend in the parking lot of the Muckleshoot Casino, and police arrested him for it.
Shoplifting: 2:48 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Drive SW. An unknown guy stole multiple sets of Tommy Hilfiger sweat suits and skedaddled from the Outlet Collection mall on foot.
April 28
Assault with injury: 6:36 p.m., 12000 block of Southeast 312th Lane. Medics transported a man to Harborview Medical Center for trauma his son inflicted on him. Police busted the son for second-degree assault.
Theft: 5:12 p.m., 12515 SE 312th St. An unknown male relieved a vehicle of one tire at the the Meadows apartment complex.
Theft: 3:03 p.m., 2300 Ron Crockett Drive NW. Police arrested an Emerald Downs employee for theft.
