Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Oct. 31 and Nov. 7:
Oct. 31
Theft: 7:20 a.m., 2300 block of O Street Northeast. Residents reported two different but “probably related” car prowlings in north Auburn.
Controlled substance: 1 p.m., 711 E. Main St. Auburn High School authorities suspended two students from school, and the City prosecutor expects to charge one with having pot.
Trespassing: 2:41 p.m., 1314 Auburn Way N. When Merchants’ Acceptance had had enough of a woman’s flouting of whatever rules and norms she flouted, the merchant withdrew its acceptance of her, and out the door she went.
Vandalism: 2:14 p.m., 1044 Outlet Collection Way SW. Two kids painted fake blood on a vehicle, which somebody later removed with soap and water.
Theft: 6:52 p.m., 402 16th St. NE. Somebody stole a street performer’s tip jar.
Burglary: 2:30 a.m., 810 Harvey Road NE. Burglars hit an espresso stand.
Vandalism: Overnight, 1305 C St. SW. Although rock chuckers chucked a number of rocks over the gate of the City’s maintenance yard and into the parking lot, it appears the aforesaid hit only one vehicle hard enough to cause significant damage.
Nov. 4
Trespassing: 6:57 a.m., 201 Auburn Way S. For nefarious deeds undisclosed, eight adults got the boot from a Shell Station
Nov. 7
Burglary: 6 a.m., 1825 K St. SE. Somebody or several somebodies broke into Olympic Middle School and stole items undisclosed.
Vandalism: 11:21 a.m., 102 E. Main St. A person or persons unknown vandalized Liberty Tax Service in a way undisclosed.
