Auburn police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Nov. 16 and Nov. 21:
Nov. 16
Theft: 11:16 a.m., 802 45th St. NE. Unknown subjects lifted a tenant’s rent money from a drop box for the apartment complex.
Shoplifting: 4:58 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. Police arrested a 13-year-old boy for shoplifting items from an undisclose store at the SuperMall. A clerk saw the boy hide a bracelet and key chains in his pockets and walk out of the store without paying. The employee caught up with the young man, however, and the store got its property back. Police released the boy to his grandfather.
Robbery: 6:27 p.m., 790 Auburn Way N. An unknown person stole a cell phone from an Auburn cell phone store. The suspect ran to a vehicle with the employee in hot pursuit, but as the suspect fled the scene in the vehicle, he ran over the employee’s foot.
Theft of purse: 7:54 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. A woman reported that sombeody stole her purse at the Muckleshoot Casino. Sombebody later found it in a men’s restroom minus the wallet.
Theft from vehicle: 11:32 p.m., 2002 Auburn Way S. A man told police that somebody broke into his vehicle at the Muckleshoot Casino and took a GPS and some prescription pills. Police did not disclose a value for the missing items.
Nov. 21
Theft from motor vehicle: Ovenight, 900 block of 14th Street Northeast. A man called to report that at at least one thief had entered his pickup truck and stolen his interlock device and miscellaneous paperwork.
Theft: 9:30 a.m., 29832 Green River Road Southeast. Someone swiped a cash deposit bag from the Auburn Golf Course. Police did not disclose how much cash was actually in the aforesaid cash bag.
Shoplifting: 2 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. Store security caught a person thieving undisclosed items at Spencer’s at the Supermall. Police did not disclose the value of the items.
Shoplifting: 3:30 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. An hour after the above shoplifting, Spencer’s store security caught a boy shoplifting undisclosed items. Police didn’t disclose the unknown value of the unknown items.
Theft from vehicle: 8 a.m., 2800 block of J Court Southeast. An Auburn resident complained to police that somebody had stolen lottery tickets and a flashlight from his parked vehicle. Police did not disclose the value of the missing items.
Theft from motor vehicle: 10:45 a.m., 6100 block of Terrace View Lane Southeast. Somebody cut a hole in the convertible top of a vehicle and scooped up the valuable inside, a GPS unit. Police did not give an estimate for the missing item.
