Theft: 3 p.m., 12401 SE 320th St. A thief stole a cellphone from a bathroom at Green River College.

Oct. 21

Weapons offense: 8:04 a.m., 28900 124th Avenue SE. The powers that be at Mountainview High School found a folding knife on a student and trouble ensued.

Burglary: Overnight, 1702 E St. NE. Someone burglarized the Truck Shop Dealer of, well, something.

Trespassing: 12:43 p.m., 601 Oravetz Road SE. As the leaves continued to whirl on a crisp, fall afternoon, police told a man to leave Roegner Park.

Theft: 10 p.m., 1120 37th St. SE. Police investigated two boys for multiple car prowls.

Oct. 22

Burglary: Overnight, 1100 block of 37th St. SE. A burglar or burglars broke into Gildo Rey Elementary and trashed three classrooms.

Vandalism: 1:56 p.m., 504 West Main St. A vandal chucked a rock through a House of Vacuums window.

Vandalism: 3 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. An unknown person fired a pellet gun at a vehicle and at a glass door.

Theft of vehicle parts: 9:21 a.m., 1505 West Valley Highway S. G & L Automotive Repair reported a customer’s wheels and tires were stolen from their vehicle.

Firearm robbery of gas station: 7:27 p.m., 1111 17th St. SE. Somebody robbed a service station at gunpoint.

Oct. 27

Vandalism: 5:30 p.m., 1205 26th St. SE. As a man was walking across a street he heard four boys yelling obscenities against Donald Trump. When he returned, he realized his car had been egged – for the third time in recent weeks.

Shoplifting: 3:22 p.m., 762 Outlet Collection Drive SW. A man stole a skateboard from Walmart but bicycle-bound police officers caught up and arrested him in downtown Auburn. Police hauled him off to jail, and Walmart got the board back.

Oct. 30

Theft: 1:27 p.m., 801 Auburn Way N. Police cited and released a Fred Meyer employee for theft of currency.

Shoplifting: 3:30 p.m., 1126 Outlet Collection Way SW. Police busted a boy for boosting a jacket from a business.
