Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Sept. 24 and Oct. 2:
Sept. 24
Burglary: 9:36 p.m., 1802 A St. SE. After cutting through a storage facility’s fence, a burglar stole an outboard boat motor.
Sept. 27
Auto theft: Overnight, 2200 West Valley Highway N. A thief got into a commercial box truck and drove away into the darkness.
Disorderly conduct: 3:19 p.m., 1000 block of D Street Northeast. Police busted this dude for being blotto in public, out where people could see him bobbing on a sea of fermented beverage.
Street robbery with knife: 3:55 p.m., 500 block of 4th Street Northeast. While trying to steal a woman’s purse, an unidentified female stabbed her. An ambulance drove the injured woman to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for treatment of her minor injuries.
Theft: 6:39 p.m., 4100 D St. SE. Somebody stole a transient woman’s bicycle trailer with her clothing inside.
Vandalism: 8:26 p.m., 3340 M Place SE. A 15-year-old girl got into a heated argument with her mother, and police busted the girl for breaking things and for exposing minors to domestic violence.
Sept. 28
Trespassing: 9:18 a.m., 1313 Auburn Way N. Such fuss and feathers did a misbehaving woman raise at Auburn Hair Design that she got herself expelled and ordered to stay away not only from the aforesaid establishment but also from the surrounding parking lot and other nearby businesses.
Trespassing: 7:30 p.m., 2130 Dogwood Drive Southeast. It was a vacant home, it was for sale, nobody was supposed to be inside, somebody was inside, police arrested that somebody.
Oct. 2
Auto theft: 2:05 p.m., 1500 block of B Street Southeast. A vehicle’s owner left it unattended, engine running, and somebody stole it.
Animal problem: 2:39 p.m., 1000 block of 17th Street Southeast. While a woman was trying to break up a fight between her two pitbulls, at least one of them bit her.
