Auburn Police blotter | Sept. 15

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Sept. 3 and 10:

Sept. 3

Weapons: 4:50 p.m., 762 Outlet Collection Drive SW. Police busted a man for having dangerous weapons, in addition to his shoplifting proclivities.

Trespassing: 9:40 p.m., 4104 A St. SE. Two women and one man got the boot from Puget Sound Energy property.

Sept. 6

Postal theft: 10:08 a.m., 120 R St. SE. A property owner reported a theft of rental checks from his manager’s office in central Auburn.

Sept. 8

Possession of marijuana: 12:28 p.m., 1015 24th St. NE. The powers that be at Cascade Middle School suspended a student for being in possession of a green, vegetative substance which he or she should not have had owing to a shortage of required years on Earth. Said student is facing the filing of formal charges.

Theft of property: 5942 Peasley Canyon Road S. Somebody vandalized a vehicle at the Metro Park & Ride.

Sept. 10

Dude’s got a gun!: 2:20 p.m., 500 block of 15th Street Northeast. Somebody saw a guy in a vehicle waving around a realistic BB gun.

Sept. 11

Trespassing: 8:08 a.m., 903 Auburn Way S. Les Schwab got tired of a miscreant and told him to hit the road, and what’s more, to stay on it until 2020.

Lewd conduct: 4:23 p.m., 222 E. Main St. Police arrested a woman for lewd conduct, undisclosed, and for having an Auburn warrant with her name on it.

Theft: 5:58 p.m., 1038 Outlet Collection Way SW. A suspect shoplifted more than $1,000 in merchandise from a local business and then fled the scene in a vehicle with stolen license plates attached.
