Sept. 15

Theft: 8:34 a.m., 2102 Auburn Way N. A theft — likely, though not confirmed by police, involving thieves and objects of presumed value thieved — went down.

Trespassing: 12:30 p.m., 711 E. Main St. After Auburn High School staff contacted on campus a former student in the company of another non-student, police charged her with trespassing.

Robbery: 12:01 a.m., 1000 block of I Street Northeast. A woman complained that somebody, or several somebodies, had robbed her in some way, of something, of some value, somewhere in Auburn.

Theft: 4:51 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Because he had shoplifted something, police arrested a man then booked him into the SCORE jail.

Recovered stolen truck: 5:35 p.m. Police found a stolen truck in a parking lot, minus its tires and wheels.

Sept. 17

Vandalism: 7 a.m., 5300 block of Bennett Avenue Southeast. A couple reported that vandals had sprayed his pickup truck and vandalized her home with spray paint. There were no other signs of vandalism in the area.

Sept. 18

Shoplifting: 2:05 p.m., 1519 Auburn Way S. After store security caught a woman shoplifting a pair of tennis shoes from Goodwill, police arrived to cite her for 3rd-degree theft before releasing her with a court date.

Sept. 19

Trespassing: 9 p.m., 6100 block of Hazel Loop Southeast. While a woman’s ex-boyfriend was picking up his son, he pushed his way into her home.

Sept. 21

Briefly: 10:45 a.m., 801 Auburn Way N. Police arrested a man for ripping off $62 worth of underwear from Fred Meyer.

Shoplifting: 1:40 p.m., 2709 Auburn Way N. Two men stole a couple of hand-held Honda generators from a local pawn store.

Theft: Overnight, 3941 I St. NW. Thieves stole a tractor of undisclosed value from an industrial complex.

Theft: 12:57 a.m., 1525 A St. NE. Somebody deprived an open restaurant of its Seahawks flag.

Sept. 22

Vehicle theft: Overnight, 100 block of 15th Street Northeast. A man called to report the theft of a moving truck, value not disclosed.

Possession of a stolen vehicle: 2:01 p.m., 2100 block of Auburn Way South. Having called Muckleshoot Bingo Security to report the theft of his iPad, a man dropped suspected illegal drugs and was eyeballed leaving a confirmed stolen vehicle. Bingo security kept the man until Auburn Police arrived to arrest him for possessing a stolen vehicle. Police ended up busting a second man in the vehicle on the strength of a confirmed felony warrant.

Theft: 4:30 p.m., 28900 block of 124th Avenue Southeast. Somebody stole a cellphone inside Auburn Mountainview High School.

Whole bunch of woes: 10:26 p.m., 3300 block of I Street Northeast. Police arrested a man for possessing methamphetamines, having drug paraphernalia, being without a valid driver’s license and having no ID, making a false statement to a police officer, for a misdemeanor warrant and for U.S. Customs Deportation orders.
