Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Sept. 20 and 27:
Sept. 20
Possession of drug paraphernalia: 8:48 a.m., 711 E. Main St. Auburn High School authorities caught a kid with a marijuana pipe, so they suspended that youth from school.

Sept. 21
Obstructing justice: 12:49 a.m., 2700 Auburn Way N. To the legal problems a woman had already piled up by operating a vehicle with a defective headlamp, by improperly using a center-turn lane, and by operating a vehicle without insurance, she added to her woes the charge of obstructing an officer. See, she drove away from the scene of the traffic stop in the teeth of said officer’s warning that she was being detained and should not leave.
Sept. 24
Robbery: 12:30 p.m., 1300 block of Harvey Road Northeast. Police arrested a female for robbery after she sprayed a dude with pepper spray, or mace, and took his wallet.
Sept. 26
Animal problem: 11:39 a.m., 400 block of 37th Street Southeast. A pit bull on the loose chased a City employee. The dog’s owner restrained it shortly after the incident.
Shoplifting: 4 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a woman for obstructing justice and resisting arrest after somebody eyeballed her concealing foodstuffs on her person at Safeway.
Sept. 27
Bogus bill: 1:18 a.m., 1531 Auburn Way N. In the wee, small, bracing hours of an Auburn morning, in the north end McDonald’s drive-up lane, a male tried to fob a counterfeit $20 bill off on the folks in the window. Ah, but Ronald’s sharp-eyed underlings weren’t to be fooled, no sir. They eyed the funny money and said forget about it.
