Auburn police responded

to the following calls for service between Aug. 3 and July 30:

Aug. 3

Vandalism: 1:29 p.m., 12500 block of Southeast 312th Street. Unknown persons threw water balloons possibly containing urine at a residence door. The same persons also let the air out of all four tires on two vehicles owned by the person living there.

Trespass: 6:26 p.m., 1900 block of Riverview Drive Northeast. Police arrested a woman for first-degree criminal trespass after she entered a residence without permission to beg for money.

Home robbery with firearm: 10:13 p.m., 1000 block of 37th Street Southeast. Multiple suspects with guns forced their way into an occupied home. Police caught one man after a short foot pursuit and arrested him for first-degree burglary. The other suspects are still at large. No firearms were recovered.

Aug. 2

Branch breakers: 9:23 a.m., 6400 to 6700 Evergreen Way Southeast. Persons unknown broke off several tree branches from seven different trees on Evergreen Way Southeast, but left no other evidence behind.

Kids with liquor: 1:09 p.m., 4000 block of A Street Southeast. An anonymous complainant told police about a group of kids guzzling booze on the sidewalk next to the Movie Gallery. One kid was spotted sitting on the grass with an open bottle of beer between his legs. Police arrested one 17-year-old and released him or her at the scene.

Animal problem: 6:40 p.m., 7200 block of Quincy Avenue Southeast. A dog bit a young girl on Quincy Avenue. The incident was referred to King County Animal Control.

Aug. 1

Traffic collision: 1:36 a.m., 220 15th St. N.E. A man driving a tractor trailer collided with a commercial sign and got himself arrested for driving under the influence of some judgement- and reflex-impairing substance.

July 31

Vandalism: 9:30 a.m., 1000 block of 9th Street Northeast. Persons unknown spray painted somebody’s fence.

Car theft: 4:10 p.m., 100 block of 2nd Street Southwest. A man reported that somebody stole his car from the Sound Train Station garage, the second time in the previous 10 days his car had been so appropriated from the same garage. Police recovered it the first time in Kent.

Burglary: 7 p.m., 6600 block of Elizabeth Avenue Southeast. A man told police that someone was living in his vacant house which was going through foreclosure.

Shoplifting: 7:07 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way. Police arrested four females for shoplifting at the Supermall and recovered items from four different stores. One of these lightfingered ladies already had an outstanding warrant for shoplifting out of Tacoma and complicated her situation with the justice system by claiming to be her sister, who likewise had a warrant out of Tacoma.

July 30

Vandalism: 2 p.m., 1900 block of 19th Place Southeast. A woman reported that somebody had tagged her fence with graffiti between July 26 and July 30.
