Auburn Police seek man who robbed Subway | VIDEO

At 8 p.m., Dec. 6, a man with a gun robbed the Subway at Southeast 312th Street near Green River Community College.

Now Auburn Police are asking the public to help identify the man, whose image was caught on store video. The clip shows the suspect entering the Subway and displaying the handgun. Wearing a cap, he is the first of two men who enter the store. The second is a customer who enters as the suspect is leaving.

Police describe the suspect as a black male about 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a medium build and black hair.

“We have not been able to identify the suspect,” said Auburn Police Cmdr Steve Stocker, adding that police have asked the media to play the video and or pull still shots of the suspect to show to the public.
