Auburn presents sixth annual Disaster Fair on Sunday

The City of Auburn Emergency Management Office promotes National Disaster Preparedness month by hosting its sixth annual Disaster Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the new Plaza Park at Main Street and Division Street.

The City of Auburn Emergency Management Office promotes National Disaster Preparedness month by hosting its sixth annual Disaster Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the new Plaza Park at Main Street and Division Street.

The family event features disaster preparedness information, ideas, demonstrations and supplies.

There will be events and activities for everyone, including informational booths, vendor booths, disaster response demonstrations, hands-on activities for kids and adults, and preparedness information. Tours of the City’s Emergency Operations Center will be available and door prizes will be given away hourly.

Disaster response demonstrations are tentatively schedule for 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.
