Another installment from the Auburn Reporter’s police blotter made headlines on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Monday night from Burbank, Calif.

It is the second time the Reporter made Leno’s headlines, the first appearance being in April.

Leno read this Oct. 29 report submitted by a reader during his weekly feature that brings unusual headlines and wacky news items to light:

“Strong arm robbery:

6:20 p.m, 1500 block of Auburn Way South. A victim – no gender given – reported a strong arm robbery. Police did not say what was stolen, how it was stolen, the worth of what was stolen, whether anybody was injured or if the robber or robbers got away to do it again.”
