Claire Kerbs will play the violin and represent Auburn Riverside in the All-Northwest Orchestra. Dan Tu will play the cello in the All-State Orchestra.

The Washington Music Educators Association selected the seniors for the honor of playing in these prestigious orchestras in February in Spokane.

The students were selected through an audition process. Students from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and Wyoming competed for the honor of being named to the All-Northwest Orchestra. Students from Washington are selected for the All-State Orchestra.

“These students have great talent,” said Elsa Fager, Auburn Riverside orchestra teacher.
