The Auburn School District Board of Directors recognized Becky Thibodeau, secondary fiscal accountant at Auburn Riverside, for her outstanding service at the Oct. 16 board meeting.

Thibodeau has worked in the ASD for four years and loves her job.

“It’s not just coming to work,” she said. “It’s like being part of a family. The culture for students and staff is so warm, welcoming and supportive.”

The school board also recognized Noreen Kebba, a teacher at West Auburn High School, for her outstanding service at its Sept. 25 meeting.

Kebba was a substitute teacher for 14 years in Auburn before being hired 11 years ago as the health, nutrition and wellness teacher at West Auburn. And she is right where she wants to be.

“My first sub job was at West Auburn and I loved it,” she said. “I knew when I was ready for a full-time job; this is where I wanted to be.”
