The See Ya Later Foundation recently awarded Scott Banke Memorial Scholarships to Drew Wallen and Amy Cheng and Carter Harms of Auburn Mountainview.
Wallen, Cheng and Harms were selected from a field of 36 candidates. The foundation looks for oustanding students in the classroom who make an impact in the community through service and volunteerism.
The foundation was founded from the inspiration of a 12 year-old boy who died of cancer. Scott Banke had a zest for life and a courage that motivates the mission of the foundation, which is to inspire youth and encourage families. Scott refused to say good-bye to anyone, choosing instead to say, “see ya later.”
